Challenge
Studio sample · not a client claim. Existing cameras recorded everything and nobody watched the tape. Security wanted alerts, not another dashboard full of noise. False positives would kill trust in week one.
Approach
- Define a short list of events worth waking someone for (zones, PPE, intrusion windows).
- Run models on edge/stream with confidence thresholds tuned on sample footage.
- Build a review queue: clip, timestamp, camera, accept / dismiss / escalate.
- Ship quiet hours + rate limits so phones do not buzz all night.
Solution
Software flags first; humans decide. A review queue with short clips replaces “scroll the NVR.” Alerts stay rare enough that staff still open them.
